The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett

A clever book about an octogenarian desirous to meet death on her own terms, that is unless her 10-year old neighbor Rose and her new 80+ year old friend Stanley can convince her otherwise. A well-written story about an unlucky woman who is simply done living, until she isn’t.

Eudora Honeysett is likable, stubborn, and well-mannered. She has lived a good life, been kind, never extravagant and is quite relatable. The story is not earth shattering but definitely well-worth the read. I would recommend taking the time to see beyond the usual and glimpse life as one who has seen enough.
